Appointments & Payments

We accept cash, check, and most credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) Apple Pay and Google Pay and Samsung Pay.

You can contact us on making arrangements to accept card-less transactions if we groom your pet while you're away from home!

We confirm your appointment 7 days prior to the date you have been scheduled for, and we'll let you know if we're running behind or ahead of schedule on the day of your appointment.

We understand that plans can change and we're happy to accommodate your schedule to the best of our abilities. We ask for at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule any appointments. This time frame allows us to fill your appointment spot so that our staff do not lose income.

While we would love to offer specific times for each client, we do have to factor in special requirements for some pets who may need a little more time or attention. Weather and traffic delays and our routing schedule may also play a role. The only guaranteed time slot we can offer is the first appointment of the day. If our schedule requires a later in the day appointment or you cannot be home for the appointment, we do offer latch key services to accommodate any schedule.

We understand that mistakes may happen or you are very busy, but if you forget about your appointment, we will require the full service fee and the cost of the service that was going to be preformed. If you do not confirm your appointment 3 days prior to the appointment date, your appointment will be removed from the schedule at no charge.

Once your appointment has been completed, please inform your groomer how often you would like your pet to get groomed. For your convenience we do offer latchkey appointments.

As long as we have access to your pet, payment and detailed instructions for your pets grooming, we do not require anyone to be home. We do require you to be home for your pet's first groom with us.

You are not allowed inside or near the salon at any time while your pet is being groomed as that can cause injury to your pet and our groomers.

General

Yes! We require all pets to be current on their vaccinations. If your pet has received vaccinations, we do require a 72-hour waiting period between the vaccination and your grooming appointment.

If your pet has received vaccinations recently, we require a 72-hour waiting period between the vaccination and your grooming appointment.

We will do our best to groom to the specifications of each client. If the pet is matted, we will do what we can to de-mat the hair, but we will never put any animal though unnecessary pain or stress. If matting is too severe or the pet is not tolerating the de-matting process, we will need to shave below the matting and start over with a fresh coat. De-matting causes damage to the hair and will increase the likelihood of future matting so it is sometimes better to shave and start over. We will attempt to contact you if we need to shave your pet, however, if we do not get a response within a reasonable timeframe, we reserve the right to do what we deem necessary for the health of your pet. Additional charges apply depending on the severity of matting and the time spent brushing them out or safely shaving underneath.

We only attempt to express anal glands on the outside of the anus. If we cannot successfully express the pets anal glands from the outside, then they require internal gland expression that must be preformed by a licensed veterinarian.

We pluck inner ear hair if your pet is comfortable with that being done. If the pet shows obvious signs that they are uncomfortable with the service, then we will discontinue it. If your vet recommends that your pets ears not be plucked, then let us know and we will not preform that service on your pet.

I will not use any shampoo purchased by the client unless it is a medication prescribed by a licensed veterinarian. We carry shampoos for pets that have allergies, dry skin, need extra conditioning and for dogs that shed a lot. We will use these shampoos if we notice that your pet needs it. If you yourself notice that your pet needs a certain kind of shampoo, please let us know and we can accommodate that request.

Health & Behavior

Our number one concern is your pet's well-being. In the event your pet shows signs of distress or aggression, we will charge the full service fee as well as any additional services that were scheduled to be preformed.

We can preform maternity clips before your pet is due (shaving around the breasts and vagina) to help make the process smoother. We will not bathe or preform any cosmetic grooms, and we will not preform any services that will place the pet in discomfort. We will not groom nursing dogs until they are 8 weeks postpartum.

We do not work with dogs in heat. If your appointment is scheduled during your pet's heat cycle, the appointment will need to be rescheduled.

We do not work with aggressive dogs.

Yes! We work with dogs of any age, however, if they have medical conditions that prevent us from grooming them comfortably, we may discontinue our services with your pet.
